Spain has been experiencing a lot of political changes and developments in recent years. From regional elections to national governing shifts, the country is no stranger to political upheavals. In 2019, the country held a snap election after the ruling Socialist Party failed to pass a budget, resulting in a hung parliament. This led to months of negotiations and a coalition government between the Socialist Party and the leftist party, Podemos. This was a historic moment as it was the first time since the country’s transition to democracy that a coalition government was formed.
